A 14 x TV HOUR DOC SERIES

R31 is excited to announce the beginning of production of its new series Almost Unsolved: Heists – Season 1
with Superchannel/Fuse (Canada) and True Crime Network (USA).

Each self contained episode, filled with archival materials (including taped confessions and police recordings) and some dramatic reenactments, is guided by interviews with people close to heists that almost went unsolved. We talk sometimes with the investigator, a journalist or maybe even the thief who walk us through the case timeline of what happened, what was taken, what we knew when and how eventually the case finally broke. A fast and entertaining whodunnit, sometimes even with a trail of bodies, with a cast of characters that had the arrogance and determination to pull off a heist. A heist they almost got away with it… 

R31 has already been on the road interviewing some fascinating people. This includes former FBI agents and even a Federal Marshal. Each of them sharing stories of resilience and determination  to catch the criminals that thought they could get away with it. Almost
