Burning Ember officially has a Canadian home…
We are delighted to announce that Refuge’s first feature documentary has been acquired by CBC’s Documentary Channel for broadcast in Canada. This is not only a great honour but also a vindication of our work and persistence in making this film.
“We couldn’t be happier. With all the changes in the Canadian broadcast industry, specifically the recent CRTC rulings, we realized we had to be patient. Now we finally have a sale to a top channel in Canada with coast to coast reach. This not only establishes Refuge as a national production company capable of producing features but also gives Steve Bell the exposure that we always felt he deserved.” said Director Andrew Wall
