Refuge 31 is honoured to announce that its first film (made in 2013), Facing Hunger, has won a Silver World Humanitarian Award at the World Humanitarian Awards.

The film, which profiles two farm families on opposite sides of the world working to end global hunger, was directed by Andrew Wall, produced by Kyle Bornais and written by Emily Cain. Facing Hunger was shot in both Canada and Tanzania.
