Refuge 31 had it’s conscientious objector documentary, The Last Objectors, screen at Christian Life International Film Festival (CLIFF2017) in Thomasville, Ontario this past weekend. We are now honoured to announce that the film took the Silver Award in the documentary category.
The Silver Award now adds to the growing list of accolades including: Manitoba Day Award from the Association of Manitoba Archives, Award of Merit at the Accolades Global Film Competition, Best Feature Documentary Award at Winnipeg Real to Reel Film Festival, Gold Award at the World Documentary Awards in Indonesia, Silver Humanitarian Award at the World Humanitarian Awards in Jakarta and was nominated for Best Documentary at Views of the World Festival in Montreal. The Last Objectors also was also recently screened at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg.
The 44 minute film is now available on MTS Stories From Home (VOD for Manitoba Bell MTS subscribers) and has aired nationally in Canada on CBC.
