It is with great sadness that we hear of the passing of Cliff Derksen. Cliff was the subject of our 2017 documentary Suspended and the Art of Forgiveness which examined forgiveness and the intersection of art and faith in the aftermath of tragedy.
Our crew spent many hours with Cliff filming him work with clay and paint. The documentary film went on to win many awards and screen around the world, often with festivals commenting that Cliff’s story would be talked about through and after the festival. He was a very special person who made the world a better place.
